Megan has been working as a Physiotherapist in private practice since 2008, after finishing her degree in New Zealand and moving to Australia. She enjoys treating a large array of injuries including work related and sporting injuries. She has a ‘hands on’ approach to managing injuries and enjoys educating her patients on their conditions so that they are fully involved in their rehabilitation.
Megan has extensive sporting team physiotherapy experience. She was the QLD Maroons Women’s State of Origin Physiotherapist in 2024 and assisted them in their 2025 campaign as well as looking after the QLD Under 19’s Girls State of Origin team. She was the physiotherapist for the Kiwi Ferns in the Pacific tests at the end of 2024 and worked as the Head Physiotherapist for the North Devils Rugby League club for four years from 2021 to 2024 inclusive. Other teams she has worked with include the Women’s Indigenous All Stars Rugby League team for 5 years starting in 2016, the Junior Sydney roosters NRL players who live in Brisbane, the Fiji Women’s Rugby League team, the Redcliffe Dolphins QLD cup team, the Kedron Wavell Women’s Division One Hockey team, the Peninsula Power Football teams and the Great Britain Water Skiing team.
Keenly interested in Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Occupational Health Physiotherapy, Lower Limb Biomechanics and Injuries, Post-operative treatment, Neck Pain and Headaches and the use of Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Megan has completed further studies in all of these areas.
